Please leave me the wind
Blowing away the cobwebs and the dust

Washing away the slow sands and the rust

I can't forget . . . the feeling of the wet . . .
The child's face so unchildlike
The features scratched open so very wild like
A tiger, a lion, and the eyes of Orion
And must this so surely challenge justice; Injustice
Never thought I would see one
And so reason

It'll surely sink in; It'll be done then

Please leave me the earth
Swallowing up the structure and the common sense
Please leave me the sky
Hypnotizing the expanse and the present tense

I still remember . . . the clouding of the entrance . . .
The god's act so ungodlike
The divine forgiveness so very odd like
The lyre, the strings, and the Pegasus' wings
And must this so surely challenge justice;  Injustice
